TRAVEL, PARKING AND ACCOMMODATION

Royal Randwick is well serviced by public transport with a Light Rail station and a purpose-built bus terminal at the racecourse main entrance on Alison Road. The venue is located in Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs and is approximately 6km from Sydney CBD and 8km from Sydney Airport.

Attendees are encouraged to plan their trip and consider all the available travel options ahead of time.

LIGHT RAIL

L2 – Circular Quay / Central direct to Royal Randwick

BUSES

Plenty of regular route buses also run between the City and Eastern Suburbs via Anzac Parade and Alison Road to get you to Randwick Racecourse including bus routes 339, 373, 374, 376 and 377.

PARKING

Royal Randwick has a multi-deck carpark available for all guests. There is limited free car parking, otherwise the rate is $10 per day.

ACCOMMODATION

Anything on the L2 light rail route would be a great option, as the light rail stops right in front of the main entrance on Alison Road. Surry Hills light rail station is only a 8-minute ride and a great location with lots of lovely restaurants. Otherwise, anything in the CBD close to the light rail would take you to the venue in just 15-20 minutes.

Coogee is also a great option if you prefer to be close to the beach, and it’s a short Uber ride to get to Royal Randwick (10-15 minutes).
