Kash O’Hara completed a Bachelor of Commerce at Sydney University and spent the first 5 years of her career working in HR for Premiere Global Services and Microsoft.

Kash was selected at Microsoft to be part of their global MACH program which is an accelerated management program but after being at Microsoft for 18 months her urge to start her own business was too strong.

With a long held interest in fashion and styling, Kash O’Hara, founder and head style doctor at The Style Doctor, pursued her passion within the industry by launching her womenswear label with her sister, OHARA in 2007. OHARA have shown collections in Australia, Hong Kong, Los Angeles and New York and have won awards in the industry most notably The Australian Wool Awards in 2011, G’Day USA emerging Designer award in 2011 (was selected to show a collection in New York) and The FTV Designer Award in 2012.

Gaining extensive experience within the Australian fashion industry and becoming heavily involved in styling work, overtime Kash has worked as a fashion designer, personal stylist, editorial stylist and celebrity stylist for the likes of Danni Minogue, Lizzy Lovette and Lynette Bolton to name a few. Kash has also used her corporate background in HR to present to companies on style in particular Corporate Style. Such companies include The Telegraph, Marque Lawyers, Ernst Young, Fox Symes and Associates, Korda Mentha to name a few.

With her experience in styling and fashion design working hand in hand, in 2015 Kash launched her second business, the diverse offering of The Style Doctor, the online styling expert which is the first of its kind in Australia. The Style Doctor also offers personal shopping and styling experiences, wardrobe consultations, style workshops, shopping and high tea experiences at Westfield Sydney, shopping tours to Hong Kong and Shenzhen, photo shoot styling, runway styling, editorial styling and corporate style workshops.

Kash started the Style Doctor with her strong belief that style can be taught and that anyone can look stylish at any age, with any shape, size or colouring, or budget. Kash and her team of Style Doctors always make their clients feel comfortable and ensure they leave any styling experience or workshop with the knowledge to always look their absolute best.

Kash has also launched the Style Doctor YouTube Channel where she has interviewed some great names in Australian fashion including Kaftan queen Camilla, shoe designer Terry Biviano, Anna Plunkett from Romance was born and fashion Illustrator Megan Hess. The Style Doctor TV also keeps you up to date with street style at Fashion Weeks, Fashion Festivals and Fashion events.
