Entrepreneur in Residence, UNSW
Danielle has 20 years experience in entrepreneurship, innovation, and digital transformation – in roles ranging from startup founder, mentor, consultant, senior manager, director, advocate and board member. She an extensive network across local, national and international startup ecosystems. Her unique experience designing and implementing innovation programs and incubators in the public sector and higher education industry has resulted in award winning initiatives and highly successful cross-sector and collaborative partnerships.
Danielle represented Australia at the G20 Summit and at the European Commission in Luxembourg. She has been a Finalist for Women in Technology’s Entrepreneur of the Year and championed the iAwards Young Innovator Award in 2014. Most recently, an undergraduate course that originated from her portfolio (The Maker Games) won the AFR Innovation Award.
In addition to The Maker Games, Danielle designs and develops signature education experiences such as Engineering Impact – an entrepreneurship course for PhDs and the Innovation Community Ambassadors Program which involved an intensive 9-month internship program with a cohort
of 10 students.
In her current role, Danielle provides entrepreneurial coaching and education to staff and students and manages UNSW’s involvement in the Innovation Central Sydney Alliance and UNSW Techconnect.
